I’ve never tried raw food – scrap that actually now, I’d never tried raw food, but after watching a BuzzFeed video of people trying raw food for a week (and may I add failing terribly at it), I thought it was time to have a try.
As today has been veg day or market day in Lancaster, I had lots of fresh produce to play around with and some yummy rice paper to hold them all together in snug little veggie packed parcels of joy. So I chopped my veggies up into strips; mushrooms, carrots, onions, peppers, cucumber, broccoli, some sprouts and some herbs (basil and coriander) and then got to wrapping them in rice paper.
In the end, Amy, Joe and I all sat down and made them together …
… which was lovely and gave us a great chance to graze and chat! As you can see, we added some chilli flakes and sesame seeds as well as some dipping sauces (all vegan of course). Then two not raw ingredients – tofu and rice, just as extra.
This is my colourful plate:
Bloody next level beauty right there💕😍
So that was my easy raw experience that I thought I’d share to inspire you all and also as proof that the BuzzFeed video was just lazily made.
Thank you for reading. ✨✨
