Green Smoothie

‘For when health takes precedence over pancakes.’

Ingredients:

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 orange
  • ¼ of a large cucumber
  • Handful of spinach
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1/2 a cup of water

Serves: 1

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Method:

  1. Firstly, roughly chop the banana, cucumber, and peeled orange.
  2. Next, add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.

  • If you like your smoothies a little sweeter, add a few dates.
  • You could also add orange juice instead of water for a more tropical feel.
